Internationally Aligned Reporting with TSRS
The Türkiye Sustainability Reporting Standards (TSRS) entered into force with the Official Gazette on December 28, 2023, and became mandatory for large enterprises as of January 1, 2024. Based on the ISSB’s IFRS S1 and S2 standards, TSRS aims to ensure transparency, accountability, and comparability regarding companies’ environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.
Companies exceeding the defined thresholds of assets, revenue, and employee numbers, as well as listed companies on Borsa İstanbul and banks, are required to comply. TSRS will facilitate Turkish companies’ access to green finance and support alignment with the EU’s sustainability directives such as CSRD.
